Two Lady Muleriders finish Mulerider Spring Classic in top-10; SAU takes third

FINAL RESULTS

EL DORADO, Ark. –
Hilary Pauli and Helle Leed each placed in the top-10 individually and the Southern Arkansas women's golf team placed third at the Mulerider Spring Classic, held at the Mystic Creek Golf Course in El Dorado over the past two days.

Pauli, a junior from Las Vegas, Nev., was the Lady Muleriders' top finisher as she carded a two-round total of 175 to finish in sixth-place. Two strokes back of Pauli was freshman golfer Helle Leed, who finished in seventh-place with a tournament score of 177.

As a team, the Lady Muleriders were four strokes better on Tuesday, as they shot a 366, but ultimately were unable to make up the difference between themselves and second-place Loyola University (New Orleans).

Rounding out scoring for SAU was Taylor Burdick and Elizabeth Dover. Burdick would tie for 14th-place and Dover would finish in 20th place.

The Lady Muleriders will be at the links next week as they head to the Big Creek Golf and Country Club in Mountain Home, Ark. for the First Federal Bank Invitational, hosted by Henderson State.
