MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Volleyball team will conclude their regular season schedule tonight inside the W.T. Watson Athletic Center as they welcome in Henderson State (4-24, 2-13 GAC) tonight for a 7 p.m. first-serve. Senior night ceremonies honoring seniors

Hannah Rice will take place before the start of the match.
The Lady Muleriders (17-13, 8-7 GAC) currently sit in a three-way tie for fifth with Ouachita and Northwestern Oklahoma in the Great American Conference standings, and after tonight could finish as high as fourth-place in the league. With Arkansas Tech (1) and Southern Nazarene (2) having already clinched the top two spots, seeds three through eight will be decided and solidified tonight on the final day of GAC regular season play.
Southern Arkansas has won ten straight matches against the Reddies dating back to 2010 and in late September they beat HSU in straight sets. Tonight's matchup will feature two players in the top-five of points per set in SAU's
Serena LeDuff (4.24 pps/4
th GAC) and HSU's Jessie Jacoby (3.86 pps/5
th GAC).
LeDuff ranks third in the GAC in kills per set at a mark of 3.81, while Jacoby averages 3.49 kills per set; the fifth-best average in the league. LeDuff is also eighth in the conference in service aces per set with .32, behind teammates

th GAC).

Taylor Reaume paces a balanced offensive attack averaging 10.28 assists per set; the third best mark in the conference, while senior defensive specialist
Hannah Rice leads a backrow with the league's second best digs per set mark at 5.47.
As a team, the Lady Muleriders rank in the top in all major offensive categories: assists (12.03/2
nd), kills (12.72/3
rd), service aces (1.60/3
rd), and hitting percentage (.213/4
th). Defensively, they force opponents to attack at a clip of .174 and rank third in the GAC in digs per set with 17.13.
Over the last month, dating back to a five-set loss against Northwestern Oklahoma, junior middle hitter
Kaitlyn Reiner has provided added depth and a defensive presence for Southern Arkansas. She has started 10 out of the past 11 matches and has averaged 6.1 kills, including a career-high 11 kills on Tuesday (3-1 win @ Ouachita), to go along with a hitting percentage of .326. Defensively, she has averaged 3.5 blocks per match over that time span and has registered 8 or more points/match in seven of the past eleven games including five matches of 10 or more points. Her performance over this past month has put her into the top-ten in hitting percentage (.279/9
th GAC) and blocks per set (.76/10
th GAC).
