ADA, Okla. – The Lady Mulerider Volleyball team held East Central to a four-set attack percentage of .078 and delivered with 10 blocks and 69 digs as the stout defensive effort gave Southern Arkansas a four-set victory (22-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-19) over the Tigers in Great American Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Ada. Oklahoma.

Shelby Lauterbach combined for 32 kills, while junior
Hannah Rice led a back row with 24 digs followed by sophomore
Savannah Pillow's 10. Junior
Kaitlyn Reiner produced eight total blocks, while the Lady Muleriders (13-12, 5-6 GAC) pushed themselves back into the heart of the GAC standings as several teams remain in the mix to grab a spot in mid-November's GAC Volleyball Tournament presented by Subway.
The offense again flowed through senior setter
Taylor Reaume as she spread around 37 assists. A native of El Cajon, California, Reaume became just the fourth player in school history to produce 2,000+ assists in a career as she did so in last night's win over Southeastern Oklahoma.
SAU grabbed the momentum early in the first set, but ECU clawed back to take a 22-19 lead. A pair of East Central attack errors brought the Lady Muleriders to within a point, before ECU closed the door to take the first set of the match.
The Lady Muleriders would bounce back to take the final three sets as they swept their final Oklahoma road swing of the 2015 season.
