William McKnight had the best game of his young career at SAU as he ran for 95 yards on just five carries (19.0 ypr) with three of those carries resulting in touchdowns.
 
The first of his touchdowns broke a 6-all tie late in the second quarter and was a 32-yard jaunt.
 
His second score came in the fourth quarter and was a 49-yard burst up the middle just one play after Southern Nazarene made it a two-score game, 27-13.
 
McKnight's final rushing touchdown came a couple of minutes later and extended the Muleriders' lead out 41-13.
