Maddie Dow enjoyed a powerful week at the plate as she blasted four homeruns and drove in nine runs in SAU's four-game series against East Central.

In the opener, Dow accounted for SAU's two runs as she hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning.

In the first game of Friday's DH, Dow basically beat East Central on her own as she went 3-for-3 with 3 HRs and drove in six of SAU's seven runs in their 7-1 victory.

The 3 HRs in a game are a new SAU single-game record.

After the third homerun, Dow did not see another pitch in the strike zone as she was unintentionally-intentionally walked in her next four plate appereances. In the series finale, Dow would not register a single official at-bat as she was walked three times in three plate appearances.

For the week, Dow would hit .500 (5-for-10) with four HRs, nine RBIs, and had an on-base percentage of .667 and a slugging percentage of 1.700
