Jaron Davis was the Muleriders' leading socrer last week as SAU went 2-0 for the second-straight week with a home win against Henderson State and a road win at Arkansas Tech (the first for SAU since 2007).

For the week, Davis would average 16.5 points per game while shooting 35% overall from the field, but it was Davis' abilities from the free throw line that contributed the most as he went 13-of-15 from the line. Davis still remains the top free throw shooter in the GAC.

Davis' free throw abilties were needed down the stretch against Arkansas Tech as he made 5-of-6 attempts over the final 2:30 to preserve the win over the Wonder Boys.

Additionally in that game, Davis would score 22 points, giving him seven games with 20 or more points scored.
