Barrett Renner, a native of Rowlett, Texas, led the Muleriders to a 32-28 win over Ouachita in the Murphy USA Classic this past week as he threw the go-ahead and eventual game-winning touchdown to his tight end Tanner Hudson with 37 seconds left in the game.
 
The TD pass was his fifth (5th) of the game, matching his career-best in a game as just a redshirt freshman.
 
Renner would also throw for a season-high 383 yards on an ultra-efficient 23-of-27 (85%) passing.
 
It was the fourth time this season in seven games that Renner has thrown for over 300 yards.
