Steve Sutton enters his 30th year at Southern Arkansas University and serves Mulerider Athletics as the Athletic Aid Oversight Coordinator, Outreach Advisor for National Park Community College and an admissions counselor in the Office of Admissions.
Sutton came to SAU in 1993 as program coordinator for the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Team (ADAPT).Â
Sutton received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Henderson State University. Before coming to SAU, he worked in the commercial insurance business and in administration at Southern Arkansas University Tech in Camden.
Sutton has two sons, Drew, a former professional baseball player, and Tyler.
