Connor Cameron is entering his second year on the Mulerider Basketball staff.

Cameron comes to Magnolia after serving as student assistant for men's basketball at the University of Louisiana Lafayette and Louisiana Tech. The Monroe, Louisiana native then worked under Coach Mark Rutledge in the 2025-2026 Season.

During Cameron's time at Louisiana-Lafayette, the Ragin' Cajuns held a 42-23 record overall with back-to-back Sunbelt tournament championships appearances and winning the Sunbelt in 2022-23 qualifying them to make an appearance in NCAA tournament. Cameron also worked with the Lou Henson Player of the Year, Jordan Brown as well as other All-Conference players such as Kobe Julian, Greg Williams Jr., and Joe Charles. As well as All-Sunbelt Tournament Team Terrance Lewis II.

During his time at Louisiana Tech, the Bulldogs held a 22-10 record while also having the Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in Isiah Crawford, Newcomer of the Year and All-Defensive team Daniel Batcho, All-Conference Third Team Tahlik Chavez, and All-Conference Honorable Mention Sean Newman Jr.
