The Mulerider Club provides support for the Southern Arkansas University Department of Athletics through financial sponsorships and participation at athletic events. The support of the Mulerider Club creates endowments for the department, provides for facility improvements, and helps support the overall mission of assisting student athletes succeed on and off the playing field.

Members of the Mulerider Club meet throughout the year to hear updates on SAU athletics from the SAU administration and coaching staff.

Mulerider Athletics
The Mulerider Men compete in football, basketball, baseball, cross country, golf, tennis and indoor and outdoor track & field. The Mulerider Women compete in basketball, cross country, golf, softball, tennis, indoor and outdoor track & field and volleyball.
