SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Luke Cote wrapped up a dominant performance today at the Dewsweeper Invitational to claim his first individual collegiate title as he turned in his scorecard for his third and final round of play today.
 
Cote came out of the gates firing early and often, carding a -4 under par 68 in his first round of play that saw six birdies and an eagle to go along with a pair of bogeys and a double. The senior began his second round of play yesterday, picking up right where he left off, carding a -7 under par 65 including two eagles and four birdies to go along with one bogey as he quickly shot up the leaderboard to end his first two rounds of play as the clubhouse leader at -11 under par. Luke began day two of the tournament with a double bogey but recovered quickly, pulling back to even par for the round with back-to-back birdies. From there, Cote managed the course well playing par golf while carding one more birdie and a bogey to end his third and final round at even par while still being in first place at -11 under par. Cote's dominance proved as the next highest finisher was -6 under par for the tournament.
 
Collin Spangler was the next highest finisher for the Muleriders tying for 16th at +2 over par. Spangler recorded rounds of +2 (74), -3 (69), and +3 (75). Spangler recorded eight birdies during the tournament including six in his second round.
 
Blayden Gillham made his Mulerider debut and finished the tournament tied for 44th at +10 over par. Gillham recorded rounds of +1 (73), +2 (74), and +7 (79). Gillham recorded 10 birdies over the course of his three rounds of play.
 
Jett Stephenson finished in 59th at +26 over par recording rounds of +6 (78), +7 (79), +13 (85). Stephenson recorded two birdies over three rounds of play. Carter Bell rounded out the field for the Muleriders finishing in 60th at +40 over par. Bell carded rounds of +16 (88), +9 (81), and +15 (87). Bell recorded three birdies during the tournament.
 
The Muleriders as a team finished the tournament in 12th place at +27 over par recording rounds of +5 (293), -1 (287), and +23 (311).
