BROKEN BOW, Okla.  – The Southern Arkansas University Mulerider Men's Golf team completed their first round of play today at the Great American Conference Championship tournament tied for 4th at +12 over par with 300 total strokes.
 
Luke Cote was the top finisher for the Muleriders on the day as he is currently tied for 5th individually at +1 over par with 73 total strokes. Cote recorded one birdie and one eagle in his first round of play.
 
Collin Spangler finished his first round of play tied for 13th at +3 over par with 75 total strokes. Jett Stephenson finished his first round tied for 21st at +4 over par with 76 total strokes. Carter Bell wrapped up his first day tied for 21st at +4 over par with 76 total strokes.  Will Blake rounded out the team for the Muleriders finishing his first round tied for 28th at +5 over par with 77 total strokes.
 
Stewart Druin who competed as an individual for the Muleriders finished his first round tied for 13th at +3 over par with 75 total strokes.

Round two of the GAC Chamionship tournament will begin tomorrow, Monday, April 20th at 8:00 a.m.
