HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas University Women's Golf team concluded their play at the HSU Battle for the Belt yesterday, October 13th in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The women finished 8th out of 12 teams at +100 over par with 964 total strokes.
Brianna Chamoun was the top finisher for the women tying for 10th place at +11 over par and 227 total strokes.
Emma Hester finished tied for 32nd at +24 over par with 240 strokes. Annie rose finished tied for 50th at +39 over par with 255 strokes.
Jordyn Garner finished 54th overall at +43 over par with 259 strokes.
Isabel Marquez rounded out the field for the ladies in 59th place. Marquez did not play round two but was able to finish the tournament competing in round three. She recorded a round one score of +7 over par and 79 strokes and a round three score of +5 over par and 77 total strokes.

The women will conclude their fall schedule at the Tulsa Cup presented by Banc First on October 27th-28th. The event will be hosted by Rogers State University at the Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
