Muleriders, Marucci announce Baseball and Softball deal

Mulerider Baseball and Softball to use Marucci bats, gloves, and various other accessories

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Mulerider Athletics has announced that it has signed a three-year deal with Marucci Sports to have the Baton Rouge-based manufacturer outfit both Mulerider Baseball and Mulerider Softball with the brand's equipment such as gloves, bats, and various other accessories/protective gear.
 
The agreement with Marucci will begin with the 2024-25 academic year, and will add both Southern Arkansas University programs to an already growing list of collegiate teams such as the Georgia, Houston, Louisiana State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Miami, Washington, Rice, San Jose State, Gonzaga, and Army West Point.
 
"We are extremely excited and thankful to have the opportunity to partner with Marucci," stated Head Baseball Coach Justin Pettigrew. "Being able to supply our guys with the best equipment that money can buy is a game changer for Southern Arkansas.  Putting Marucci bats and gloves in our players' hands will give us a competitive advantage on the field and on the recruiting trail.  With this partnership, there is no better time to be a Mulerider!"

"The quality of product they are producing is top of the line and they are becoming a major player in the game of softball.  We are fortunate to be partners with them, as they will be an integral part of our program's success for the foreseeable future!"
