Bethany Barber Joins SAU Athletic Training Staff

Central New York native joins HOFer Ken Cole’s staff for upcoming athletic year

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – SAU Sports Hall of Fame Athletic Trainer Ken Cole has announced the hiring of Bethany Barber as an assistant athletic trainer for the upcoming 2021-22 athletic year. In her first year at Magnolia, Barber will assist with the Mulerider Volleyball program and with the SAU Men's and Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams.
 
Barber comes to Magnolia after serving athletic training roles in Alabama (Randolph-Macon Academy) and Virginia (Encore Rehabilitation) where she covered multiple sports at the high school and junior college level which included football, volleyball, cross country and track & field, basketball, baseball and softball.
 
In 2019, Barber received a Master's degree in Athletic Training from Daemon College. Barber attended SUNY Morrisville where she competed for four years on both the Mustangs' soccer and softball teams, before earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance & Health Promotion in 2015.
