HUMBLE, Texas – Southern Arkansas Men's Golf delivered a solid opening act to their 2020 play as the squad placed second among ten teams at the Houston Classic hosted by Southern Nazarene University from the exquisite 6,945-yard, par-72 course of the Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas. True freshman
Brendan Little continued his stellar rookie season by leading the veteran-laden Muleriders with a +1 (217) that landed him in a tie for second place and included a dozen birdies and 30 made pars. The Benton, Arkansas, native has now shot par or better in six of his 11 rounds played this season.
Little and senior
Kade Johnson each posted two rounds at par or better, while junior
Roman Timmerman shot a team tournament-best two-under in round two.
