O'Banion hit a team-best .328 in a pair of Great American Conference matches this past weekend. The senior middle/opposite hitter recorded 31 total kills at 3.44 kills per set and committed just nine errors in 67 total attacks. She added four digs, three total blocks and an assist.

The Dos Palos, California, native is closing in on several career milestones with just ten games remaining in the 2017 regular season. She is ten total blocks from 300 for her career and is 91 kills shy from reaching the 1,000 career kills mark. O'Banion could become the third Lady Mulerider to reach 300 or more career blocks in the Rally Scoring Era and just the fourth player to eclipse 1,000 kills in a career in that same time span.
