Baylor Guy, a three-time AIC and NAIA District 17 Coach of the Year in tennis was instrumental in the success that the men's tennis program enjoyed in the 1980s. Starting as a player and then transitioning into head coach of the tennis program, Guy turned the Mulerider tennis program into a national power as they ranked consistently in the top-25 during his tenure. Over the decade of the 1980s, the Mulerider tennis program won seven AIC Championships.
