RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SAU Baseball's
Blake Hall has garnered the first accolade of his young collegiate career after it was announced that the freshman centerfielder has been tabbed as the Great American Conference's Player of the Week in a release by the league offices on Tuesday afternoon.
Hall hit .556 for the week, going 10-for-18 at the plate with nine runs scored across SAU's four game slate.
Hall also racked up five extra-base hits with four doubles and a triple while driving in four runs from the leadoff spot in the lineup.
Hall, who did not strikeout during the week, was a threat on the base paths as he was 5-of-6 in stolen bases. Against LSU-Shreveport, Hall swiped four bases.

Hall joins
Trevor Rucker as Muleriders that have received the league's weekly Player of the Week award.
Hall and the Muleriders are on the road tonight, March 14, at Texas A&M-Texarkana, and will return home to Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field for a three-game Great American Conference series with Southwestern Oklahoma State on Friday, March 17, and Saturday, March 18.
