MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Scheduled start times for SAU Softball's Friday and Saturday doubleheaders against Henderson State have both been moved up an hour to 1 p.m. The twin bills were previously scheduled for 2 p.m., but will now be played at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively each day.
"Bark at the Park/Community" Day will continue as scheduled as man's best friend is being invited to come out and take in Saturday's doubleheader on March 26. With it being Community Day, all fans will get into the doubleheader with free admission. However, with it also being Bark at the Park Day, fans that wish to bring their pets to the ballpark will be charged $10 admission per pet with all money collected through this charged admission being donated to the
H&P Animal Alliance, located at 311 N. Vine St. in Magnolia.
As in year's past, fans who do bring pets must keep them on a leash at all times. Additionally, fans who do not bring a pet may still donate to the cause by either bringing animal goods (food, leashes, collars, toys, etc.) or making a cash donation.
Furthermore, each time the Lady Muleriders score a run in both games of the doubleheader, a bucket for loose change will be passed around as well.
