RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – A total of 19 student-athletes competing in fall sports at Southern Arkansas University were named to the 2014-15 Great American Conference Fall All-Academic Team as it was announced by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
"Division II places the balance of academic and athletic pursuits in its highest regards," GAC Commissioner Will Prewitt said. "I congratulate all of these student-athletes for excelling in the classroom while competing and practice hard on the field of play."
Of the 19 SAU all-academic team honorees, six came from volleyball, five from football and women's cross country, and three from men's cross country.
