Southern Arkansas Softball’s Weekend Schedule Altered

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Due to thunderstorms forecast over the weekend, Southern Arkansas’ Gulf South Conference softball series at Arkansas-Monticello has been rescheduled. The teams were originally scheduled to play doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. each day, but those games have now moved to Friday at 2 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m.
The Lady Muleriders are currently 6-13 on the season after splitting games Monday against Illinois-Springfield in Arkadelphia, losing the opener 1-0 before bouncing back with a 2-1 win in the second game. SAU is 2-2 in GSC play. Arkansas-Monticello is 23-4 overall with a 4-0 league record.
