MAGNOLIA, Ark. – A total of 16 players highlight the 2008 All-Gulf South Conference West Division Tennis Team, with Southern Arkansas placing three on the second team. Rachel Vinsant makes her fourth appearance on the team, while Aneeka Bhalla and Meaghan Ocanas each make their first.

Vinsant was a first team conference selection last year and in her freshman season of 2005, and a second team honoree in 2006. A 5-8 senior from Greenville, Texas, she had a 9-5 record at singles this year, including 7-2 playing at No. 3, and was 7-9 at doubles, with a 7-6 mark at No. 2.
Bhalla, a 5-7 senior from Nepean, Ontario, Canada, posted a singles record of 4-11, playing at
both Nos. 4 and 5, and was also 4-11 in doubles play, with a 4-10 mark at No. 3 this season.
Ocanas, a 5-5 freshman out of Rowlett, Texas, finished 5-9 in singles this year, including 3-6 at No. 2, and had a 5-11 record in doubles, with a 4-10 mark at No. 1. She is only the fourth
Lady Mulerider player to be named to the all-conference team as a freshman since 1996.
The three helped lead SAU this season to an overall record of 7-9 and 3-3 in GSC play, finishing tied at third in the West Division.
