MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas softball Coach Kevin Allison and baseball Coach Allen Gum have announced the postponement and rescheduling of their respective games over the weekend.

The Lady Muleriders were supposed to have opened Gulf South Conference play in their home-opener against Henderson State in a 2 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday. Weather permitting, those games have now been postponed until Sunday at 2 p.m. SAU is scheduled to travel to Arkadelphia Monday to face the Lady Reddies in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.

The Muleriders’ scheduled Saturday noon doubleheader at Alabama-Huntsville has been canceled. The teams have now rescheduled for a doubleheader (9/9) in Huntsville on Sunday which will in all likelihood move to a noon start time.
