MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas guard Goldie White racked up another honor when the 2007-08 All-Gulf South Conference basketball team and other post-season awards were released Tuesday by the conference office.

White, a 5-8 sophomore from Hampton, was named Second Team All-GSC. She led the league in scoring this season at 16.8 points per game and was third in minutes played at 35.7. White was the team leader for the Lady Muleriders this year in almost every category. She averaged 5.6 rebounds per contest, dished out 64 assists, and had 54 steals. White’s 437 points scored on the season placed her in the SAU 400-Point Club for the second consecutive year. Her 888 points scored over the past two seasons already places her 17th on Southern Arkansas’ all-time career scoring list.

In her freshman season last year, White was also a second team all-conference pick and was named the GSC West Division Freshman of the Year.
