[May 29, 2008] May 29, 2008 MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas Mulerider Coach Eric Bozeman has announced two boy’s basketball camps that will be held in June. An elementary day camp is set for June 2-4 and an individual junior and senior high camp will run from June 8-12. Bozeman is entering his fourth season at SAU, after having served as an assistant coach at Ole Miss for seven years. Some of the top high school and college coaches in the region will assist the Southern Arkansas coaching staff and players with the camps. Instruction, activities, and supervision will be classified according to age. Registration for the elementary (grades 1-6) day camp will be held Monday, June 2, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the W.T. Watson Athletic Center gymnasium. Registration for the junior and senior high (grades 7-12) individual camp will be held on Sunday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bussey Hall. Campers should bring basketball shoes, socks, T-shirts, and shorts. Resident campers for the individual camp should bring bed linens and a pillow for a single bed, and personal articles such as towels, swim suits, and money, for concession and pizza orders. While at camp, campers will be covered by an excess insurance plan. This is designed to cover only eligible expenses remaining un-reimbursed after primary insurance companies have made payment in case of injury. A copy of this policy will be made available in the camp director’s office. Cost for the elementary day camp is $75, with a $25 deposit. The cost for the junior and senior high individual camp is $250 for residents staying on campus, with a $100 deposit due, and $180 for commuters, with a $75 deposit.
