MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas Mulerider baseball program will hold two Christmas camps next month, a pitching and catching camp on December 20, and a skills and drills camp December 20-21.
The one-day pitching and catching camp, for ages 9 to 15, will emphasize pitching and catching drills and arm and strength conditioning, and will be conducted from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost for the camp is $25 per participant.
The skills and drills camp, for ages 6 to 15, will be conducted from 1 to 4 p.m. on December 20, and 2 to 5 p.m. on December 21. Drills will be used to teach proper practice techniques and game situations emphasizing hitting, fielding, base-running, sliding and throwing fundamentals. The cost is $50 per camper.
Early registration is available with forms being obtained by contacting the SAU baseball office at (870) 235-4127 or 4114. The camps will be conducted by Southern Arkansas coaches and players.
