SEARCY, Ark. – Harding got 31 kills from Manuela Nesheva in knocking off Southern Arkansas, 3-1, in Gulf South Conference volleyball action Thursday at Rhodes Field House. Scores were 30-26, 30-23, 26-30, and 30-14.

It was Nesheva’s third 30+ kill match on the season as she hit .375 in picking them up. Teammates Shellie Rummer and Katelin Parks chipped in 23 and 12 kills, respectively, with the Lady Bisons (18-7, 6-1 GSC) getting 83 total as a team, hitting .240.

Leah Tepe tossed up 64 assists, while Nesheva and Emily Tate pounded three service aces apiece. Meredith Rosenbaum finished with a team-high 32 digs and Nesheva added 18.

The Lady Muleriders (6-18, 2-5 GSC) hit just .158 for the match, getting 14 kills from Kristina Daily, 11 from Shelly Jones, and 10 from Maggie Ross. Andrea Spradlin and Kayli Kerr set up 24 and 20 assists, respectively. Mallory McKee was on the floor for a match-high 35 digs, her second 30+ match of the season and 11th of her career. Jones added 24 digs, Cristina Correa chipped in 11, and Spradlin finished with 10. Ross and Veronica Ogbeide each had eight blocks, with the team finishing with 23 total.

SAU returns home Tuesday to host Arkansas Tech in a 7 p.m. match at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center.
