MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Andrea Spradlin, a setter for Southern Arkansas, has been selected to the college division 2007 ESPN The Magazine Third Team Academic All-District VI Volleyball Team.

A 5-6 senior out of Creekview High School in Dallas, Texas, Spradlin has a 3.84 GPA in accounting at the university. She was named last year to the Gulf South Conference All-Academic Team and is

Daily Named First Team All-GSC

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas’ Kristina Daily has been named a First Team All-Gulf South Conference West Division selection on the 2007 conference volleyball team.

A senior out of Cypress Falls High School in Houston, Texas, Daily was a four-year starter for the Lady Muleriders. She ends her career at SAU as the all-time leader in both kills (1,224) and attacks (2,934), setting both records

SAU Ends Season on High Note

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas closed its 2007 volleyball season on a high note Tuesday, claiming a thrilling, come-from-behind 3-2 win (27-30, 34-32, 30-23, 29-31, 22-20) over Ouachita Baptist at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center. With the victory, the Lady Muleriders (10-20, 5-7 GSC) end their season winning two consecutive and four of their last six.

Lady Muleriders Shut Down Texas College

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Southern Arkansas celebrated senior day with a 3-0 shellacking of Texas College Sunday at the W.T. Watson Athletic Center. Stepping out of Gulf South Conference play, the Lady Muleriders made short work of the Lady Steers, winning by scores of 30-14, 30-8, and 30-9, claiming a sweep of TC this season having beaten them in Tyler in their first match of the year.

Musebe’s 30 Kills Lead Henderson State past Southern Arkansas

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson State’s Edith Musebe (Mu-see-bee) smashed 30 kills to lead the Lady Reddies past Southern Arkansas, 3-1, (30-13, 30-21, 26-30, 30-20) in Gulf South Conference volleyball action Thursday at the Duke Wells Center.
