Southern Arkansas Schedules Summer Baseball Camps

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – The Southern Arkansas baseball program will be conducting six traveling baseball camps this summer, as well as holding their annual camp on the SAU campus this month.

The Mulerider coaching staff and some of the SAU players will hold traveling camps June 13 in Parkers Chapel at the old high school field, June 14 in Crossett at the City of Crossett Sports Complex, June 20 in Ashdown at the high school field at the Ashdown Recreation City Park, June 26 in El Dorado at the El Dorado Boys and Girls Club, June 27 in Smackover at the Smackover High School field, and June 28 in Hope at the high school field at the Hope Parks and Recreation. Times for all six camps are from 8 a.m. to noon, and are open to ages 6-14. Registration for each of the camps is slated for 7:30 a.m. at each location. The cost for each camp is $40, and each camper will receive a t-shirt.

The annual summer camp is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, June 21-22, at Mulerider Field. Slated for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. each evening, this will be the first Mulerider baseball camp scheduled under the new lights. The camp is open to ages 6-14 with registration slated for 5:30 p.m. on June 21. The cost is $60 for the two-day camp and each camper will receive a t-shirt.
