Lady Mulerider Softball Signs Another

Magnolia, Ark. – Southern Arkansas University Coach Jamie Madewell has
announced the signing of Sloane Laiche to the Lady Mulerider softball program. Laiche, a 5-3, junior middle infielder from St. Amant, La., transfers to SAU from Louisiana State University-Eunice.

Laiche was an All-Region selection at LSU-Eunice this past spring, hitting .459
with 24 doubles, eight triples, two home runs, and 28 RBI. She played her freshman season at Birmingham-Southern (AL) College.

SAU Excels in GSC Spring All-Academic Selections

Magnolia, Ark. – Southern Arkansas University and the University of Alabama-Huntsville led the 17-team Gulf South Conference 2006 Spring All-Academic Teams with nine selections each.

Three ink to Play Softball at Southern Arkansas

Magnolia, Ark. – Head Coach Jamie Madewell has announced that three more standout softball players have signed national letters-of-intent to play at Southern Arkansas University. The three are junior college transfers Samantha Hoelscher and Rebecca Forse, and high school senior Kara Turner.
