MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Former Southern Arkansas University standout Kenny Langhorne has signed with the Las Vegas Venom of the American Basketball Association (ABA).

Langhorne, a native of Columbus, Ohio, finished his two-year career at SAU this past season after transferring from Columbus State College. A Second Team All-Gulf South Conference selection last year, he led the Muleriders in scoring and rebounding, averaging 15 points and 6.4 rebounds a game, led in shooting percentage at 50.3 percent (148-294), shot 35.5 percent (27-76) from three-point range, was 64.3 percent (81-126) at the free throw line, had 49 assists, 15 blocks, and a team-high 49 steals.

Langhorne is a past GSC West Division Player of the Week, and he finished his senior year with 404 points scored, placing him in the prestigious SAU 400-Point Club. He made SAU’s 300-Point Club as a junior, scoring 304 points.

For his career, Langhorne averaged 13.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.5 steals in 53 games.

The ABA is a league with one of the richest traditions in basketball, and has provided many recent players with the opportunity to begin professional careers overseas as well.
